How to Remove scammer Popups ?
When surfing the Web, few things are more annoying than the constant appearance pop-up ads and windows. Not only are pop-up ads usually unwelcome, they waste valuable bandwidth and increase the amount of time needed to open the Web pages you really do want to view. Fortunately, modern Web browsers have a built-in feature that will prevent most types of pop-ups from appearing on your screen.
Firefox
- Open the Firefox Web browser.
- Wait for the browser to load, then click "Tools" on the menu bar. Click "Options" when the new menu appears.
- Click the "Content" tab in the "Options" window. Click the check box next to the "Block pop-up windows" option near the top of the screen. Click the "OK" button to close the "Options" window.
Internet Explorer
- Double-click the Internet Explorer icon on the Windows desktop to start the Web browser.
- Click "Tools" and then "Pop-up Blocker" on the menu bar.
- Click the "Turn on pop-up blocker" if visible. If the "Turn off pop-up blocker" link is visible, pop-up protection is already active.
Google Chrome
- Launch the Google Chrome application.
- Click the wrench icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen just below the address bar.
- Click "Options." After the "Options" window opens, click the "Under the Hood" tab.
- Scroll to the "Privacy" section, then click the "Content Settings" button. In the "Content Settings" window, click the "Pop-ups" link on the left side. Click the "Do not allow any site to show pop-ups (Recommended)" option, then click the "Close" button.
- Click the "Close" button in the "Google Chrome Options" window.
